Liverpool Fashion Week Update

I have tried to write this post a couple of times and deleted it as I was always brought up with the saying that if you cannot say anything nice do not say anything at all hence my hesitation.  It was a great honour to be asked to be part of a high profile event such as this and I am sure that the catwalk shows were a great success.  However, the boutique fair was a little disappointing and nothing like I imagined it to be.  So here a couple of pictures that may explain more than I can say ;-)  Just in case you were wondering yes the lighting was that dark, no there was nowhere to plug my lights in and yes we were made to use the table covers.  All I will say on a positive front is that it forced me to rethink my layout and I feel that it is much more professional that it was so I will leave it there for now.

So sorry it didn't work out the way you had hoped! I know from seeing your posts and tweets how excited you were about being involved! Looks like for such a high profile event it was very unprofessionally organised. At least you have learnt more about your layout though - that's definitely a positive to take away from the whole experience! Jo x

Bummer .....I know from your previous threads how excited you were to be able to go, real shame it didn't turn out as you expected, but it has made you think about layout etc ,its a wonder anyone could find you in that murkiness!! Mark it down as an experience ..onwards and upwards!!

Oh I really feel for you. So sorry it didn't live up to expectations (sadly this can happen a lot in life!)

You have come away with a positive which will have a knock-on effect in the future, I am sure so your new layout plans may result in more sales anyway.

Good luck with your next fair.

Oh dear, that looks very murky, not the ideal set up to show off your wares, what a shame after all your excitement and preparation, but I'm impressed that you've managed to find something positive to take from this!

Hmmm, not sure that pink really works for everyone in this instance. Who on earth decides this to be a good idea? Such a shame Elissa.
