DIY Banner for Craft Fair Stall

So budget wise here at handbag headquarters we are stretched a tad especially having to shell out for insurance (I will let that go honestly, lol!).  My marketing budget is none existent, however, I still needed a banner for my stall.  Having looked around I thought I could make one of those, so here is my attempt, now I need honest opinions about whether it looks naff or not, I can take it, honest..... Oh and it does need a bit of an extra iron around the edges.

I have also been playing around with the layout of my table, hanging the bags from the front with tabs of material.  Also not including too much stock (although including a few more bags than shown) instead having a book with photographs of my handbags and of course the handbags with me, just in case the mood grabs them.  So let me know what you think...

It looks really good and professional, how did you do it? I have a craft fair coming up and like you, don't have the budget for expensive banners!!

I think those tabs to hang the bags at the front is genius! That is a great banner as well, kind of like an oversized handkerchief! Really unique, maybe you could make another one for your head and tie it at the corners(your girls could wear them too, for advertising purposes and start a new trend at the same time!). Oops. seem to have lost the point, anyway I think the portfolio is a nice idea but I wouldn't take up valuable space for actual products. Welll done Elissa, it's not easy coming up with ideas on a very little budget. Cheers, Marie x

How lovely it is!! I have just totally chickened out of doing a craft fair. I'm always full of excuses. Well done you. x

It is really difficult coming up with ways of using your small space to its potential. I agree with Marie re. taking up valuable space with your portfolio. Maybe you could have it propped on a stand so it doesn't take up as much room. I would also put more out on your table. How about having more levels? Aren't you organized, planning out your table and having a run at home?!!!! Happy shop keeping.

Love the banner Elissa.
Have you considered having a darker table covering so the banner stands out more and you haven't white on white?
Make sure the bags hanging on the front are secure with the tabs, we hang some hearts and pump bags on our front and they often get knocked off as people pass by.

I love your banner, I never thought of that idea when I did fairs.

I agree with Dreamstar it would show up much more if you had a darker table cover. Wishing you lots of success!
