Day 13 Bows & Bag

I have been on a bit of a roll today this morning I had a bow making fest, whilst listening to some 80's electro pop I became a bow making demon!  Listening to the music brought back memories of my school days and certain songs reminded me of crushes I used to have.  I was convinced I was to become Mrs John Taylor (Duran Duran) when I grew up.  However, this was not to be, mind you I still have not given up hope that he will come and find me, lol.

This afternoon after I had returned from memory lane I produced this bag, it is just a variation on a simple clutch with a long handle added.  My eldest daughter picked the bow to go on it, let me know what you think.

Oh the 80's were my era too! Loved John Taylor, Nick Rhodes and I wanted to be Mrs Andrew Ridgeley for a while - but shush don't tell anyone! Thank goodness that one crashed and burned!!
Do you remember those things you put on your head that sprung around? Something boppers? Crazy!
Anyway, back to the seriousness of bags and bows! It's a really nice neat little one and to be honest any of the bows would be good, but i'd be tempted to go with the contrasting red colour. Maybe you could supply two and the customer could then mix and match, so that way it's more versatile?

Ooh, I'm absolutely with your daughter - I'd have chosen the gingham bow as well. My second choice would be the starry bow so I LOVE the idea of Minky Magic's - supplying two bows with the bag.

John Taylor was always my favourite too. Funny thing is, my hubby is the complete opposite in looks - funny how your taste can change as you get older?!

ooh thank you ladies for the comments & ideas! I was going to sew the bow on but think I will put brooch pins on the back and like you say offer choice of 2. Ooh am off to make more bows!
