What I did on my week off......

So the kids are back at school again now, well for 5 weeks anyway until they break up for the big one, gulp!  We had a lovely relaxing week off mainly I think due to the fact that I ran out of steam.  Don't get me wrong running my own little business is a dream come true, however, working 12-15 hour days 7 days a week was beginning to take its toll.  After a staff meeting I have agreed with hubby, a very rare occurrence, that I maybe need to reclaim my weekends.  This is not going to be easy as the temptation to 'just check emails' then turns into just replying to one email, checking various accounts and on and on... So I will let you know how that goes, if you see blog posts posted at 2.30 a.m. in the morning it means I have cracked and we may need to get the butterfly net out!

Anyhoo, one of our days out was to a beautiful garden just down the road from us in Biddulph called Biddulph Grange Garden.  It was one of the most beautiful, stunning gardens I have seen in a long time.  Its creator used to travel the world fetching back exotic plants, flowers and ornaments so there are different sections.  In one day we visited China, Egypt and Italy which wasn't bad going....

Also, remember the upcycled jeans handbag I made?  well here is its little sister, an upcycled jeans teeny bag, how cute is this!....
